I was searching for a used dresser on FB marketplace when an ad popped up from wayfair advertising a dresser for $49.99. Thinking it was probably cardboard and pressed wood, I decided for the money it would suit my immediate purpose. I checked the website and it appeared authentic so I proceeded to order the dresser. then the site went blank with no confirmation of order and no foreseeable delivery date. I could no longer access the website. A week later I noticed a charge taken from my bank account that I could not remember making. When looking up the website I came upon others who have been scammed in the exact same way.

I purchased 2 chairs from a site that I thought was Wayfair. Never received an email with order information, nor have I received any shipping information. This was purchased on Facebook through a Wayfair discount site on January 22, 2025. I took screenshots of the purchase/order.

i clicked a ad on facebook which appeared to be wayfair, was buying a small chair for kids room. so when i decided to go find my order number and confirmation number, there was no order. so went back to confirmation email and realized it was a scam, then i started investigating
