I applied for a job to work remotely on ziprecruiter.com and the company claiming to be "Watts & Hughes Construction" led me to believe it was a legitimate job offer. They mailed me a Cashier's Check for $4,958.00 and demanded that I should deposit it as soon as possible. I did, and the bank put the check on hold and after 5 days my bank voided the check with the description of "DEPOSITED ITEM RETURNED Altered/Fictiti099007289 # OF ITEMS00001CK#:0000051297 DEP AMT0000495800 DEP DATE031523CK AMT0000495800",
