Making the mistake of believing a well-made website and, worst, a nice FB page, I made the error of sending my Zenith El Primero to have it adjusted as it was losing time dramatically. I knew that both arms (minutes/hours) were loose on their shaft and that the repairs had to be concentrated on this.
After receiving an estimate for $1394.50 I tried to discuss the items in details as, as said, only the parallelism of the hands had to be adjusted, watch having been gone thru service less than a year ago… no need to work on the self-winding mechanism or “cleaning the old oil”. Tired of the back and forth emails discussion with people just wanting to be right I gave up and paid the requested sum. The “we know everything” attitude was hard to deal with but I guess it is the millennial arrogance these days.
100 days after I received the watch and immediately notice that the date name was misaligned in its window and one day later had not changed.
Watch Repairs USA offered a warranty return which I will not do: testing the watch for 24h would have shown the problem (not existing prior!) and professional people should not have sent it back in this non-functioning mode; my, little, trust in this company is now gone.
I requested a 50% reimbursement which, of course, was denied so I will have now to take this matter to the Small Claims Court for the full amount + legal expenses.

This company provided me a quote to fix a vintage watch with sentimental value. The quote for $276.00 was paid in March 2019. There was never any progress or status provided on the work and after 8 months of no responses to my queried. I received the watch in non working and with broken stem. I get no response from their customer service and now believe this company had no intention of repairing the watch. This company should be investigated so others do not go thru this.

I have bought a designer watch and it ended up needing a new battery. It got sent to watch repair USA for them to replace the battery and replace the crystal face. The estimated repair time was 3-6 weeks. It has now been several months. I have been charged hundreds of dollars to “repair” the watch. I try to email and call the business but do not get any replies or if I do get a reply it says that they will “look into it” or i will receive my watch back in 2-3 weeks.

Please beware of this company and read the reviews on yelp and google. This company advertises to be a watch repair company offering affordable watch repair options for every type of timepiece available. They offer free shipping and free estimates. However, when you send your timepiece in, you will never see it again. They will charge you up front for the repairs, steal your money, steal your watch, and you will never hear from them again. I am filing a class action lawsuit for all of those who have been victimized. There are over 80 yelp reviews with the same issue which means there are hundreds of us who have fallen prey to this business. The owner needs to be held personally and legally responsible, it is our duty to ensure that he is not able to victimize others in the future.
