This company is scamming people by pretending to sell 2020 Christmas ornaments that they never end up sending. I ordered three Christmas ornaments via an ad on Instagram, but others got scammed through ads on Facebook.

After placing my order on the 13th a message popped up to say that the actual delivery date would likely be much further out than their website stated, due to COVID-19, but that my card wouldn't be charged until my ornaments were made (they claimed they make the ornaments AFTER orders are placed), at which point my order would officially be "processed" before shipping them out to me.

I received non-stop emails on my order's “status” to the point of being weird. In some of their emails they mentioned the "perfect quilt" I ordered (which I didn't), and then blamed "customs" for the extra delay in shipping. When I emailed back to say that I ordered ornaments (not a quilt) and didn't understand how "customs" would impact my order since they claimed to be shipping my order FROM a U.S. location TO a U.S. location, they responded with a bunch of apologies and plead for patience and understanding. I then noticed that the person who emailed me back seemed to be representing a different company (maybe a separate scam site?) but emailed me from the "[email protected]" email address on the Washingoal website:

Upon further inspection I noticed that there was no specific order number mentioned in the emails, and they never provided the tracking number that my order confirmation told me I'd receive a few days after my order was placed. I then Googled the company, and found countless sites, reviews, and articles confirming my fear - that this site is a scam. I emailed them back to ask them to cancel my order, and they're refusing to do so because I didn't do it within 12 hours, like their policy requires. I've disputed the charge with my credit card company, but wanted to report them somehow to hopefully prevent them from continuing to rip people off.

Completely fraudulent website and business. Their website (washingoal.com) is initially convincing but upon close review there are two listed business addresses (in different states) and two different support email addresses. There is no listed customer service phone number. I ordered a product over a month ago and never received shipping confirmation nor the product. I attempted to contact both support email addresses and received replies from a completely different business entity called "Shelby Corporation Inc". In these response emails they gave generic and poorly worded responses in broken English. Ive asked for a refund but they simply reply with their attempts to find a tracking number. Further review of their website address and company online revealed multiple similar complaints and concerns regarding fraudulent activity. See for yourself, do a quick review and its obvious this business is a scam.
