This person tried to rent a house to my son which was for sale and already had an offer accepted for it. He wanted the money sent in a money order to a Texas address because he said he was in the military and couldn't take care of things. He sent a bogus lease with a clause for an air B&B rental as well as very odd conditions. He included utilities as covered in the lease but didn't name them. He had "house rules" clause which was odd. He had me send check before I even signed a lease and he would only send keys after check was received. He didn't even ask my address to send the keys. I contacted a realtor about the pending offer sign on the house and he told me it was a scam because the house was sold and would be closed on in the coming weeks.
