It was a situation that I felt preyed upon. And later I found out others have had the same experience. There is outright manipulation and control. Did I have a choice? Yes, but she has a very manipulative and strong personality, and then once you get in, there is no way out. She had me on a zoom call, and kept asking me things like, "What are you afraid of?" And with each "reason" I would give her, she had a rebuttal. It was a bullying tactic, and very very manipulative. I won't go into details, but it went on and on, with each reason I gave. She would not stop, and I finally consented.. I asked for a refund twice after the fact because I could not believe I had lowered my own standards, and was not given the option at all. Once I got in the program and began to see how manipulative she was throughout the whole thing my initial experience began to make sense and I realized that, yes, I had been duped and manipulated into spending $940 that I did not have. It has been a hard lesson to learn, but now that I see "how she is" it makes sense why I gave in when otherwise I would not have. This is a Christian organization and it makes me VERY sad to know people are being treated this way. It is flat not right.
