I received a phone call said they had been alerted that some was actively in my computer they had my CLSID number. The transfer led my to support and I talked Daniel Y*** employee ID 2141 the I gave I’m control over my computer. After 2 hour they actually fixed the problem. But after I google the company it had scammers alert. Then I checked ScamPulse.com it didn’t exist and it said possibly scammer. I the read some complain and it was exactly how he described it . Even the same call back number were the same.

The caller informed me that their company had been monitoring my computer use and found that malware and viruses were being downloaded to my computer. I asked for contact information. Name was Anthony Thomas, callback number was 845-363-6555. He said he would call me back in 30 minutes after I check him out, because it was not a scam. A goggle search found numerous scam reports matching this call. I gave him no other info, and have blocked the number he called from.

A woman with an Indian accent called telling me that my computer was sending them signals that something was wrong. She claimed that she was with VT Support, a designated Macintosh and Windows security provider. I told her I didn't believe her and she offered to give me my Windows ID or Windows registration number so I could very that she was telling the truth. I know that I had no affiliation with any VT Support, and I know that no provider would call my home phone nor did anyone HAVE my home number as it was new, so I told her to remove my number from the call list and that I was recording the conversation. She was VERY persistent but in the end I hung up.

Said that my IP from home computer sending them signals and need to fix. I don't have internet set up in my home. That they could fix problems but needed to go on computer and they would tell

A male caller said he was calling because my computer showed technical problems. I immediately knew it was a scam, so I asked him for his company's name and his phone number. He said his company was VT Support, which I asked him to spell for me because I had difficulty understanding his English. He immediately wanted information from me but I refused, insisting that he give me his phone number first. He hung up on me. So there was no chance for him to ask for money. The phone number I reported is from my caller ID, but it is likely a temporary number or a result of caller ID spoofing.

“Logan Thomas” with a very strong Indian accent called to warn me my computer was hacked. He had my name and address, which obviously came from the phonebook. He told me this was different and he knows that I’ve probably gotten scam calls every day but I need to trust him like he was my son. He gave me the name of the company, a phone number close to what is listed on the web and then gave me a license number of my computer and wanted me to go online and he was going to tell me how to look it up to verify that it was the actual license number of my computer. I argued with him for a while just to waste his time and get him riled up, then I got bored and told him never to call again and hung up on him. During the conversation I asked him for more information then he asked me for, such as company name, address, phone number where I could call him back after I researched that the company was legitimate, at which point he called me computer illiterate so I just laughed at him and called him a scammer. He did insist this was different than the scam calls saying they were from Microsoft and I guess he was correct because he did not say he was from Microsoft. He also kept insisting he was not after my money.
