I received a letter along with a cashiers check in the amount of $3,450 that came in an envelope under priority mail. The letter was stating intstructions concerning a mystery shopping job, which I don't remember applying for. Every time I inquired in the past surveys pop up and it goes to something different. I was given a contact number and name and was told to deposit check and notify the person once I did. My bank said it was a fake check and said if deposited it would bounce and leave me owing the bank all that money. Ive blocked the person from my phone and now he has tried to contact me via text from a different phone number.
