Saw an ad for Adorable yorkie puppies for rehoming. I clicked on the ad, then received an email from them. Email wanted to know how they can help. Said we were looking for a puppy. They have several, then asked a few questions. Purpose for getting dog, where we lived. They sent photos with information about the dogs. Said they were located in Wichita, KS. We ended up choosing a Shih Tzu. Rehoming fee was $300. Said we would get email with tracking information (did not happen). We paid the $100 upfront fee it had to be PayPal. Address was to ******************** Supposedly her name was Kaya *******. It would not work & wanted some other Cash app. Then she said to use her sons account: ********************** His name was supposedly Michael *******. Payment worked & she said that ********* *** ********* Transport would be delivering him on Nov.25. Then we get an email from ************** with someone else saying we had to pay $200 for insurance. After much texting, I said refund our money. He said “Okay??“. That’s the last I heard. That’s when I realized I was being scammed.
