I was contacted after submitting a resume to a job posting on Indeed. I received an email from Ashley Tracey who said she was the hiring manager for Voices of Hope Lincoln (a legitimate non-profit company). She said that I qualified for an interview that would take place over the app Wire. I proceeded with the interview where I was told I would receive my own equipment to work from home- I would not have to pay for anything. I would only have to buy a second phone for work and they would reimburse me. During the interview, she seemed to know everything about the company. I was offered the position a few days later, but was not asked for any personal information. Something still seemed off, so I emailed the company and asked if it was legitimate. They told me it was not.
