I googled "Tide Free and Gentle laundry detergent" and found vitneo.com. They appeared to be selling laundry detergent, soap, and some cosmetic products. On 8/20/2023 I ordered two boxes of the Tide laundry detergent (the type I ordered has been hard to find elsewhere) and put in my credit card number and CVC number from the back, as well as my email address. I received an email back immediately saying that the order was received and would be processed when my payment was verified. On 8/30 I sent an email to [email protected] inquiring about my order and got the following response: "There is Payment Gateway issue on our website so the order was not processed. And there is no money debited from your card. Once issue solved we will email you. Kindly" I called the phone number provided and received the same response. When I asked how soon the issue would be resolved, the female answering the phone said "soon." I believe the respondent may have had an Indian accent. Today I sent an email to the vitneo support cancelling my order. Later today (9/12/2023) I was notified by my bank that the same credit card used for the above transaction may have been used fraudulently to attempt to purchase something from West Marine (they denied payment). I confirmed that the use was fraudulent. I believe this incident was related to my giving my credit card info to vitneo.com.
