Saw this ad for a weight loss supplement and was offered a free trial, just pay shipping and handling. I decided to try the free trial. Once I entered in my credit card information, there was a pop up for another product sold by the company, and no way to bypass this screen to get to the confirmation of order other than pressing "proceed to checkout" button. After pressing this button, another screen popped up advertising another product for the same company, with no way to bypass the screen other than pressing the "proceed to checkout button". Once that was done, with no indication that you are adding these products and for how much, a screen pops up giving you an order number, with three items ordered, what they are and how much you are paying for each item; indicating that your order is completed. I called the company immediately to complain saying that I did not agree to order all three items and that I only wanted the first item ordered. I was told I would have to call the same number three times to cancel each item, which I stated was ridiculous as it was all placed as one order, and fraudulently the other two items were ordered -- I did not add them to the order or could not review the order to verify. I was then told the order was cancelled. My credit card showed those items as pending, that Saturday evening. Then today (now Tuesday, and yesterday was a holiday), my credit card shows three items charged to it, for more money than was shown on the website totals at the end of the order, and I received a package with three bottles inside; and this is listed as a Canadian website. I called the company again today to complain that I received a package from an order that was cancelled within 5 minutes of being placed since they added 2 products I did not want. I was then told they do not normally do refunds on things marked at a discount. After I became very upset with them, I was then sent 3 emails with a link to fill out a "refund request" with no guarantee of a refund, and I have to wait 7-10 business days for them to determine if I am going to get my refund.
