A local call (local area code) came up on my phone. A man wanted to 'verify some information' and would not answer any questions about who they were or what the company was about. I called the number back and asked to speak to a manager, which I did. She would not explain anything about the company and simply stated that they were located in another state (which has a very different area code). After a few moments of argument she terminated the call. When I attempted to call back my number was blocked. I called from another number twice more and no one on the other end would tell me anything about the company. I'm not sure what type of scam was trying to be perpetrated as I never got that far. The call originated from 414-209-7340. Numerous people have commented about calls from this number online.
