Received text (which I did not open) from phone number beginning 1 (410) 100 - (cannot get the rest of the phone number without opening the text) stating:

FRM:Visa Verification

SUBJ:Call 8774835239 and...

I called my credit card company using the phone number on the back of my credit card & they confirmed that the number is NOT associated with them. She highly recommended that I do not open the text. She even called the number on the subject line of the text and the recording on the phone stated something to the effect that it was regarding a Visa debit card. I do not have any debit cards from any company. I have now deleted the text so as not to accidentally open it.
