Scammer must have hijacked the Facebook account of someone I knew from high school. After "Hi, what are you up to these days," the message became, "I just got my $500,000 government grant. Maybe you can tell me how you invested yours. Or have you got it yet? Do you know how to apply for it?"

I replied, "Yep. Start by not believing internet scams" and unfriended the account.
