The second incident happened the same day, same method.
Info:Shannon Darby [email protected] Trailer #773347924 buyer protection order. Shannon Darby 310 W. Losey St. Scott AFB, Il 62225 $1000.00 for a trailer.
So I went to buy the vehicles above. The only form of payment the scammers would accept were Ebay cards. We live in a rural area so I had to drive 180 miles round trip to retrieve them. My secretary completed the emails with the code on the back of the cards, a picture of the cards and receipts. We received confirmation phone calls from Customer service on both orders, that the payments had gone through. I also received a phone call from customer service stating that the trailer would arrive Sunday between 10- noon, I mentioned that I preach church that morning, so they said it would be delivered Monday same time. Then, we were contacted back by the scammers from ebay that there would have to be another $1000.00 worth of cards to cover insurance to transport the trailer. WE refused to pay as we did not actually own the vehicle yet and there was a five day trial period to see if we were satisfied with the purchase. That is when the scammers started acting weird and the phone numbers we were given for customer service, those listed above, were disconnected and we have had no further contact.
