I bought an item though the resale site, vinted and the seller did not give the product. The item I innocently bought was a monster high elvira collector doll, but when my item arrived, the seller attached the shipped label to an open box of protective face shields without anything else but the face shields. When I reported the issue to vinted, there was no accountability to the seller and they never addressed the issue to me. Sounds like fraud. So I opened a dispute seller first and they didn’t respond according and just sent the return address. When I opened the issue to vinted’s customer support, they wouldn’t hear my side of the story and told me to pay to ship the box back with no accountability to the seller and instead to punish me by paying postage. When I commented back, this told me it was a policy meaning there’s no way to protect the buyer when I payed a buyer protection fee.
