At first I went on ***.com in hopes of meeting someone and maybe someday marrying them and at first when I met him it was that way and he did promise to marry me and take me on a trip to a beautiful island etc. but he always postponed it and we never did meet in person and he wouldn't even do `facetime` or videochat it was only by phone that I talked to him and also by email messages of where to go to send money to him after I received it from his so called friend. He said he was living in Fort ST John in BC at the time. This went on from July to November on 2015. Firstly I should say that he said he was a building engineer and that this got him contracts that took him away from home on business. He sweet talked me for a month before he finally asked me for my account information so that his friend could send me money to send to him by wire transfer through the bank so he could buy supplies for the building in South Africa and to pay the workers he said. It was in the middle of July that he said he got a contract in South Africa and he had to be there within 10 days or he would lose it and since it was for 4 million dollars he wouldn`t be able to come visit me before he left. So this was the reason he gave me for not coming to see before he left and every time that I mentioned it he would promise to come and get me and marry me later in the year like thanksgiving and then Christmas and then he said Valentines Day. Back in the middle of July he sent me a email of the so called contract and phoned me from the number in South Africa a few nights later saying that a friend of his that lived in Fort St John was going to send me some money and I had to Wire Transfer it to him. First it was 79000 and then it was after that it was 32000 and 6500 and 4000 and a lot of other amounts that I don`t remember and sometimes he would say he needed it faster so he would get me to go in taxi`s all over the city to send it by *** *** or *** *** but when I started getting worried and thought maybe he was trying to get me to do something illegal and I would argue with him he would say that he wasn`t taking money from me and I wasn`t taking money from him so it was not a crime, so it continued until the police called me and said that it was reported by a person somewhere else in the province that he thought he was having a relationship with me and he had sent 206,000 on total over all this time to me and he thought I was working for this man in South Africa. Close to the end the man in South Africa must have been suspicious because he got me to open a business and he let me keep some of the money saying that I could buy a van and when he got back to Canada we would start doing a cleaning business and be married and be together for ever.
