Videozpass debited my account $59.63 on July 9, 2021 for a monthly membership for the first time. I did not recognize videozpass as something i signed up for. I looked them up and found that its a self betterment website and content on this site does not interest me. I read through the website and found that they bill you $1.95 three days prior to billing full monthly amount as part of a trial period. I called the organization and was told that i signed up on June 6th and was debited the $1.95 on june 6 2021 and they tried to take the $59.63 monthly charge 3 day later as indicated on their website but the account was NSF and they didnt try again till July 9th the next month. She couldnt tell me more. she said she will cancel my membership and would only refund me $30.00. They have all my correct info including email. The rep from videozpass told me that they sent several emails letting me know of the charges. I received none. Even after canceling my membership with her on July 9th 2021 in anger....she said she would send me an email confirmation but none ever came. I contacted my bank about not seeing the first transaction of $1.95 on june 6th and was told it was done on June 5th not on the 6th as indicated by videozpass. My bank confirmed that there was no attempt to withdraw $59.63 from my account 3 days after registration with an NSF result nor was i charged an NSF fee from my bank leading me to believe that the first small charge on your account is part of the fraud to have you miss it on statements the first time and not billing you for a month to use the excuse "you forgot you signed up" just loops you into only being eligible for a partial refund because now you have been a member for a whole month. I dont know how they got my banking info. The registration for this organizations is long and extensive and requires a lot of info. how did they get my card number and 3 digit code on back of card when i have my card and never lost it. .All personal info is required for the site to sign up. I did not sign up for this site. What if they empty my account. I have reported it to my bank and the fraud department and reporting my experience here to the BBB. I hope someone can help.
