I was on Facebook and I saw a story post about cash out transfers. I asked about the transfers and if I could get in on it jokingly and they told me it was some sort of investment opportunity. I would have to transfer money to pay some fees and instantaneously that money would be multiplied and sent to my account, stacking my profits.

Next thing I know they’re asking me about my Facebook login information and a picture of my drivers license. I started asking questions but they pushed me to do it fast. I complied because I had known this persons family for a while and thought nothing of it. Until they asked for my social security number. I still sent it though. Next thing I know I’m locked out of my accounts. I disputed all the transactions On the cash app already; requested refunds. It was suggested that I file a police report and also a report with the BBB.
