Type of a scam Charity
September 27, 2015: "You will receive your payment in 3-5 days"
October 9, 2015: "Your return will be in the mail after this weekend"
October 26, 2015: "I will look into our books and make sure it has been sent"
November 9, 2015: Communications have ceased thus the complaint
They never provide a telephone number or address on any communications and only once did they actually place a name on the response (Benjamin Goldstein-Senior Customer Service Representative). I don't ever anticipate seeing the $68 refund that we provided by check that was cashed within 24 hours but I want to stop this fraud from using the US Military as bait to solicit funds. Please note in the article that the solicitor who called on our house (Agent Clara Rothstein #2010) was arrested in Batavia, Illinois for soliciting without a permit and her partner Ryan Choinski arrested for soliciting without a permit also has a pending arrest for possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia.
It appears that this fraud was also uncovered in St. Louis, Mo. and reported to the ScamPulse.com of St. Louis.
I don't have the capability to attach a PDF file of the receipt or any of the communications from Vision Packaging but would be glad to fax the information or send via the US Mail for your files and review. I simply don't want other generous citizens who want to support our troop to be taken as we were. The receipt says you can get the money refunded, the communications all make commitments that the refund would be coming and they are probably out of business. Check out their website and you will quickly see how evasive they are.
