On February 20, 2023, I tried to contact the software company Mcaffee about having several charges for different protection plans. Someone calling herself Rachel called me back representing herself as from Mcafee. She offered me an unlimited protection plan for $798 for 5 devices that would help me with any computer issues. I should have known this was too good to be true but I fell for it. She said for extra security she would not take me credit card number but my bank information and a check number. I fell for that too. But then when the check posted it wasn't to Mcafee but to VG Computer Support LLC. Because I authorized the check, my bank can't get the money back.
