On Friday March 22,2024, I had the moving company load the truck for my move, then when we were on our way to my new apartment, the driver Johnny detoured into ***** gas station. I questioned the driver about it, he replied that his helper went to buy something to drink, then he also said that they stopped at * ** convenience store to use the bathroom, I replied to him saying " that is my time you're using. He replied "we were quick. I said no it wasn't. Then when they arrived at my new apartment, he requested a payment of $829.00. When I responded no, that's not what my contract stated. He tried to explain the charges, and also added a toll tee that l was not aware of nor was l ever told and was not in the contract. Upon calling the moving company, I spoke with Michael, who also agreed that that was to much money, and it wasn't the contract we agreed upon. Michael spoke to the driver and the drive got upset and said regardless of what Michael says, he was going to charge me what he added. I again called Michael, and he agreed that was a bit too much. Michael told me to pay $611.00 of which $11.00 was for tolls. He asked me if I would help them unload the truck, to which ! agreed. While helping upload the truck, minutes went by, and with boxes and crates still outside, the drive with an attitude said we have 10 minutes left what do you want to do? I replied start taking boxes upstairs, where he took 1 box then went to the truck and stayed there, rushing his help to get in. He stated to his helper that they were done. I sent Michael a picture of all the boxes and crates they left me to deal with it on my own. Even after they wasted my time by going to fuel up and going to * ** convenience store. I requested a refund of the $211.00 that I should have not been charged. I have pictures of my stuff left outside with the invoice.

We called and they sent a text saying we had to do a deposit. They then send you a barcode to deposit the money with cvs and the name on top is Christopher Mattocks. The next day at 2 pm no movers showed up and they blocked me from calling.

Found moving add on Craigslist for Pinellas County FL. Veterans Movers LLC. Sent text. They texted back saying they needed $75 upfront to hold the moving truck for next day move. Sent me a bar code to take to CVS to scan and pay cashier. The bar code said Christopher Mattocks on top. I paid $75 cash to cashier and it put on scammers pre paid card. Next day came around and no call from movers. Tried to call and text with no response.
