I called Verizon and my bank the next day , Verizon fraud department woman said this happens sometimes , until I told her it was some one inside as in employee. when I spoke to another employee she stated that if it was some one inside there will be documentation. So to her surprise she asked me if the scammers mentioned they were going to suspend my phone I said "Yes" she said it was documented there in my account. So she believed me that it happened. I spoke to may bank the first person said they will definitely reimburse me. but I got a letter from my bank saying I was denied. A Detective from WP offered to help me and I was pleased until he asked for my bank account number, which I did not give him so I don't trust him either. I have written a report to the FTC to the FBI and no one is helping. My anger is that it came from an employee in side Verizon. they called me again and I told them I went to the police and they hung up. Can you help me with this???

The person on the phone informed me that my account was compromised and that someone had tried to purchase a new iphone through my account.
These scammers were able to use Verizon’s Caller ID as well as Verizon’s Email ID - they were able to send me an email with a copy of my Verizon bill attached. They breached Verizons security and had all my personal payment history, account information, address, etc.
They claimed my account had been compromised and that my autopayment didnt go through because my account was put on hold and i would need to pay using another payment method.
Due to these scammers ability to breach Verizon’s sub-par security – I am out $336.41 and my personal information was stolen. When i called Verizon to report this - they recommended i change my passwords????????
Obviously these scammers are sophistocated and were able to breach your platform, gain access to my account - they knew all my account information.
Verizon has taken no responsibility. They offered no recompence and havent even had the courtesy to answer my letters.
I am sure there are other victims of this scam.
