The person called regarding a secondary phone number. They claimed I was making disturbing called via a newly registered phone number and wanted to know the reason for this. They claimed Verizon was investigating this behavior. I stated I would call them back because the number the called from was not a 800 number, verizon has never called me, I checked Verizon's customer service line and their hours of operation of from 8 am - 7 pm. The scammers called at 7:45 pm. I hung up on them. When I attempted to call back, the call went to voicemail. While I am aware this was a scammer calling, I was thrown off. Thanks!
