This guy called claiming he was Verizon and that we were late in payment and he would have to cancel our cellular service. He was able to shut off our cellular service as he had access to our account and was reporting to Verizon that our phone had been stolen. He claimed Verizon was using a new payment system and instructed us to make a payment to his phone number via Zelle. Chase Bank is refusing to return or cancel anything because my wife authorized the transaction even though she did under duress and under false pretenses.
