I went to the Victra store to purchase a new Verizon phone. The salesman told me there was a BOGO deal where you could buy one phone brand new and get the 2nd one for free. This was a scam because my family did not qualify for this new plan, because there were exclusions that he failed to mention at the time of purchase. My mother was on a separate Verizon prepaid plan and was not qualified to be added on as a new line to our family Verizon plan. Therefore, this was a scam because Verizon added a 6th line onto our 5 family member plan. I need to return the phone, but Verizon will not cooperate. I have made several attempts to return the phone within the first 30 days and also since then. I was hospitalized in June and very ill for 4 months this year with migraines. Verizon is claiming that they are not at fault and that the 30 day return policy has expired, but I have made hundreds of phone calls to return the phone in a timely manner to get all charges removed from the account since this was poor and dishonest customer service.
