Scammer contact me via Upwork for a position aligned with my field of Warehousing Inventory Managerial field. Requested if I was interested to download the Signal App for direct text communication to interview. I proceeded to check this out and Ricardo Garcia contacted me via the Signal App and performed a 15 text question interview consisting of common interview questions and minimal direct odd requests about address and sensitive information. I provided nothing to be able to be concerned. Post interview he requested that I be online on the Signal App sharply at 8:00 AM EST and that he would be verifying with Veradigm about my qualifications from the interview. The next morning he text me saying that I was approved to be hired and provided numerous information about next steps and mentioned the same about providing the funds to procure all the required items to work remotely. Then asked for my personal information address and to take a picture of my ID front & back. I requested that he send me an email for this info and when he did I checked his email on Google and no company matched. I proceeded to text him and ask who he works for and he answered around the question 3 times. I then told him that I was no longer interested in this position and withdrew. He tried to ask why and I told him that his information did not check out. He acknowledged and then I saw this previous report of the same situation from another person and wanted to reiterate it is not real.
