I use the Venmo app. On 11/19/23 I used the venmo app to deposit a $400 check mobily and selected to pay $20 for instant deposit. About 30 minutes went by and the money was not posted to my account. I contacted Venmo support via chat and they told me it can take up to 1.5 hours for it to clear and the money to post to my account. They told me to contact [email protected] if it wasn't in my account at the 1.5 hour mark. Fast forward to tonight, 11/20/23, well over 24 hours later, and the money is still not in my account and the ingomoney company is on the east coast, so they closed already. I contacted Venmo again and again they said they could not do anything and told me to contact ingomoney.

I paid $20 for an instant deposit and it is approaching 48 hours later and the money is still not in m account.

I wonder how many thousands of people they are running this scam on, charging $20 for an instant deposit and not following through.

They are taking money for a service and not providing the service.
