Type of a scam Phishing
This guy text me stating he was interested in buying my vehicle. He send a link for a vehicle history fax report that I would have to purchase and then send him the report. I clicked the link filled out the report and sent in my credit information to get the vehicle history report. After I entered my credit information his business was MIA. when I emailed them they sent me a generic vehicle report that was very vague with no real information. The website is no longer working and cannot get a hold of them at all. Also the person who gave me the link is no longer answering his phone. I believe this was a set up to get my credit information. The ad was put up on craigslist and another auto sales website. I also received another inquiry about my car from another number with the same link for history fax. I didn't lose money because my bank reversed charges.
