VDO Recovery called, informed me that I had been scammed by Executive Resort Network, aka Getaway Network, in 2019 for $798. That is true. VDO told me they are a registry/validation firm and their fee is 35% of the $4790 I am now entitled to for restitution, punitive damages, and my $798 back. They requested $1180 up front from a bank institution to pay me via a credit card that can hold that credit balance. Today, they are offering to send me the $4970 via certified funds and discounting my up front payment to them down to $480. I wanted to get this out there because I had to close one credit card for this matter, as well as put a freeze on my credit reports. Don't fall victim to first RESALE, now RECOVERY. I also reported them to the Florida General Attorney, and the Federal Trade Commission. BEWARE - they sound so professional and have good answers to your good questions, but this was TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, and had UP FRONT verbiage.
