The scammer contacted me via email explaining that he got my resume from a job board. He then completed a virtual interview with me, acted as if I had gotten the job. He sent me an offer letter, direct deposit enroll form, and a form W4. I researched the company and CEO whom all seemed to be legitimate, even with a ScamPulse.com rating of B+. The scammer contacted me via phone to confirm that I would be willing to receive a check to purchase software for the job from their dedicated software company. When I expressed my discomfort with the process he declined further communication.
