TORONTO, July 21, 2016 /CNW/ - The Integrated Bankruptcy Enforcement Unit comprised of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy (OSB), has charged a Beeton resident with offences under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (BIA).

Berardino CAMARDELLA, aged 49, will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Toronto Old City Hall on July 22nd, 2016.

This investigation began in response to concerns raised by several creditors as well as the licensed insolvency trustee. The allegations date back to Mr. CAMARDELLA's first bankruptcy in January 2000 wherein he reportedly 'abandoned' the process without satisfying the conditions for discharge from his debts. Consequently, his creditors' rights were revived and Mr. CAMARDELLA has remained an undischarged bankrupt since 2000.

More recently, in March 2015, Mr. CAMARDELLA filed a consumer proposal which was annulled after three months for failure to make any of the payments to creditors.

Mr. CAMARDELLA has been charged with the following BIA offences:

Failure in Duties of a Bankrupt
Undisclosed Bankrupt engaging in business or obtaining credit
Bankruptcy is a legal process that can provide relief to honest but unfortunate individuals who are unable to pay their debts. However, there are instances where individuals abuse the system by failing to comply with their duties under the BIA and/or engaging in fraudulent criminal activities. Offenders are identified by the OSB detection programs or through complaints from creditors, trustees or the general public.

Since January 2014, the Integrated Bankruptcy Enforcement Unit has charged 31 individuals and four corporations with 152 offences under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and 117 offences under the Criminal Code encompassing liabilities of approximately $107 million.

We had similar experiences with this gentleman Dino , it seems hes no stranger to taking advantage of people and their money , he will take your money then basically disappear, very awful experience. I found an article that he has been bankrupt for 20 years and is supposed to tell anyone that he does work for that he is a bankrupt, he was charged and convicted of this crime

Shingle Replacement Done Professionally And Economically

We called several roofers getting quotes and found Dino and his team at Value to be the most competitive estimate. The Value team came in and professionally removed 2 layers of old shingles and installed new Timberline shingles. They even assisted me in removing an old furnace pipe on the roof at no extra cost. They did a great job with the installation and clean up. We would highly recommend them for this job! Thanks.

Dino Camardella and Jeff Topp came to my 90 year old mother's home and initially offered to power wash her back patio for $700. This patio is approximately 18ft x 13ft, so not a huge area. While I told my mother this was too much, she said they were very nice men and she gave them the go ahead. This work was completed although they used my mother's water supply to do the work. When they came to collect payment for the power washing, they told my mother they could repair the eavestrough that had been damaged in a wind storm a year ago. This also included cement repair on the corner wall of the garage. They asked for $1800.00, my mother provided them with a cheque for $1600 with $200 to be paid when the work was completed. They never returned to complete the work. We had several follow up emails and phone calls. Dino advised that the work would be completed in a few weeks and confirmed to my brother he had been over to the house which was not true. Both my brother and I have tried to reach out to Dino but they no longer respond to our calls or emails. My mother recently passed away knowing she had been ripped off by these people.

My father had the same experience with this company in 2016/17 when he was 84. They quoted, dad paid and they never came back to complete the service which was to replace the eavestrough. After several emails to Dino, attempts to use public service such as small claims court and various other entities, it was a hopeless effort. This company will take advantage of the elderly. Please be aware.
