It started with a message. A lady (I deleted the message before I knew) messaged me and said That she found my resume on Indeed and asked if I would be interested in a green energy company called Vaillant Group. It met all my criteria and paid really well, so she had me message Matthias Schmidt through the Telegram app. I researched and it seemed legit. We went through a week of interview and hiring things and when I finally accepted and signed all the paperwork, he sent me a check for $4,810. I was supposed to deposit it and buy all my equipment, giving them the rest. I was to keep $210 as a sign on bonus.

My bank caught that it was a fraud check and said it's been happening a lot. They told me a story of exactly what I went through with Matthias.
