I entered to win a $100 gift card on a Facebook page called Vacaville Commons yesterday. This morning I woke up and saw this response and clicked the link thinking I won. The link sent me to a page that said it was Vacaville Commons and I clicked the link to register which asked for my debit card information and said they would charge me $1 just to make sure I am who I say I am then to follow the instructions on Facebook after receiving a confirmation email. When I entered my card info it said it could not be processed, then I got a text from my bank asking if I just made a purchase to Supple Skin Therapies for $149 I replied no and it said I wasn’t charged. Then I got a notification that I was charged $49.95 at Restored Skin Lounge. I immediately called my bank and told them it was a fraudulent transaction, however because I bank with Chime it’s more like a prepaid card and they said all they could do was issue a new card and block the retailer. They told me to call them myself to ask for a refund which I did and they informed me that they could only refund me 60% of the $49.95 and I told them NO I wanted a full refund because I was scammed and told I’d only be charged $1. They told me that was my only option and if I didn’t like it I’d get nothing back. They then hung up on me. I called Chime back explaining what happened and they’re response was that the charge was still pending and I have to wait for it to go through to file a dispute. I tried to upload screenshots of the response on Facebook and the text from my bank but it will not allow me click the next button after I do that
