I called the number listed: 315 675 5168 and the individual told me that it was a computer protection company. I told him I did not own a computer and he was at a loss. He said they could "put a stoppage on my account" BUT He did not have access to my payment information so they would cancel the account and I would be refunded within 3 days! I asked him to transfer me to Billing and he stated they did not have that capability.
I told him I knew it was a scam and a fraudulent company and that I had already contacted my credit card companies and my bank. He started yelling at me and then hung up. When I tried to call back I received a recording saying the number was no longer in service.

I received an email from Dwayne Woods thanking me for my order and to advised me that "your account is set to auto-renew on 6/21/2021 and a payment of $217.00 will automatically process charge on 6/22/2021." It also stated "you do not need to take any action, we just wanted to let you know. Thanks for your continued support. And to cancel please reach us at 865-264-0395 to discontinue." I called the number to cancel this order find out what product the order was for. They advised me that it was for Norton Anti-virus. I informed the agent name Richard that I did not order this service and wanted it cancel and dot not charge my acct for this. He then stated that I must be in front of the computer and he would forward me an email with instructions that I needed to follow. I advised him that I was out and did not have access to my computer. He asked whether the phone I was talking to him on was an android or an I-phone and he would send the email but I must respond to the instructions. I advised him that I am contacting the (BB Bureau) because I sensed this was a fraud to get access to my information.

Seems like June 16, these predators were very busy. This is the same scam as the one listed at 516424 in this site. I spent over an hour on the phone with these jerks, who could barely speak clearly. They try to get a bank and an account number with the use of their Subscription Cancellation Form. They would not disclose what account they supposedly hit until they received the completed cancellation form. By the way, on their initial email they use the ScamPulse.com symbol also stating they are ScamPulse.com Rating: A+.....

The sent me an email saying they were auto collecting money to renew my computer care unless I call to cancel it. When I called they determined I had a credit coming and in the mean time they linked up to my computer and took control of it. When they credited my bank account, they over credited it. When they took it back they cleaned out my accounts. They gave it back and it still had the extra in it. Then they wanted me to get gift cards to get the excess back to them. They got nothing from me but it was a hassle.

I received the attached email telling me that my "USTA Protection Plan is being carefully processed". And at the bottom of the page was an invoice listing at total charge of $217.00. I checked my bank debit card balance and the credit card that I most often use, and there are no charges on either of these accounts, but there may be a charge on another inactive credit card that I own. There is also an authentic-looking Better Business Bureau A+ emblem. Thought you should know. I don't know what kind of spam this is, since there is very little information offered on the email, so I guessed on the field above for "type of scam"

I received an e mail from USTA Protection Plan. I think it is a scam. USTA is United States Tennis Association. My order number is VK98898 has been processed. $217 I called the phone number on the email. It rings but no answer. Larry Lund contact. 865-264-0395 . I did not order anything from them.
