USPS / United States Postal Service Reports & Reviews (1)

The scam claiming to come from the United States Postal Service claimed that they had a package for me that needed to be redelivered.

It read, "we require additional details to attempt redelivery of this parcel, as the address provided appears to be incomplete." "Please provide the complete information for this address to attempt redelivery." The scammers had a long parcel tracking number and additional pages that showed so called warehouse locations for my "parcel". The scammers asked for a preferred delivery date and wanted $3 for next day or $1.00 for two days. They asked for all my address /phone info. When I tried to enter my name I could only get my first name on the line which tipped me off that this was unusual. When I clicked on the veery top line of the email up came someone's email address in Italy!!! Needless to say I did not go any further in the email as I suspect they wanted my credit card information. Additionally, I have an actual USPS account and I entered the numbers given as supposedly the tracking number and the real USPS website could not recognize the number.
