Text message asking for updated address saying, there was a parcel that couldn't be delivered.

- Buffalo, WY, USA • Jun 16, 2023

Received this text message but did not reply and went to the ScamPulse.com to report.

U.S.P.S - The package has arrived at the warehouse and cannot be delivered due to incomplete address information.Confirm your address at the link. https://usps.law/usps (Copy the link to your Safari browser and open it)

The scammer posed as the USPS, and claimed there was an issue with my shipping address. They reached out to me with a text. It asked for my name, address, and credit card info. It claimed that a “redelivery fee” would cost $0.30. Once I entered my card information, the website looked like it was having trouble loading.

- Medina, OH, USA

Text included a link to USPS site where they said a package was being delivered but they needed me to update my address because they had the wrong one. Once I entered that, they asked for credit card information for the $3 redelivery fee. They provided a tracking number and everything, but I don’t know who was sending the package or what it was. I only know they wanted my credit card numbers which made it seem fraudulent so I stopped there.
