A friend of mine was telling me about a grant he got an asked me if I wanted to see if I could get a grant. So I texted the # I was given an said a beneficiary told me about your program an I would like to apply for the grant too. Mine you my friend recieved his grant. Anyways a person text me back said he was the Secretary to the Dept of United States International Dept Grant Award in conjunction with Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Then he started asking me questions, if I was applying as a individual or an organization, I said individual of course. Then the questions started to get more personal my name-add-valid id-all of the questions that would be on an application. Then he goes on telling me that I wàs to put money on a Nike card an take pics of the card an activation reciets. I'm going along with this because my friend was so confident about this agent how legitimate he was an I trust this friend an set some money on the Nike card. Well he texts me a few minutes later saying I qualified for 150 thousand grant that I needed to send 500 dollors more for some kind of cirtifacate and delivery fees, well I sent the 500 after I sent the money on a card sent him the pis he said he will get back to me. Well I waited an waited, all nite I waited the next morning he tells me there's a problem, right then I new it I had been scammed. When I told my friend he didn't believe me an he kept backing this guy up, when I told my friend that this agent guy had told me some story an then tells me in order for me to get this grant moñey I would have to send him 5000 more dollors! I couldn't believe it. Right then is were I said that I couldn't get that kind of money an he was getting kinda demanding about me getting this money asap I ask if he could just send all the money I had sent him on those Nike cards I haven't herd from them sence. This is just a run down on what happened I have a phone name an every text he sent me an that I sent him I screen shot the hole thing. I know I out that 600 dollors but if I can save someone from going through what I'm going through I did the right thing. I'm am devastated over this I have never felt so stupid in my life. I just didn't know what to do. Thanks for listening.
