I thought I was talking to one of my friend on Facebook IM, she told me about this New USA Free Grant, that she got $50,000 in grant. She chose to get cash vs check. She claimed she got the cash via USPS. Convinced me to apply, so I called this number at 630-338-0987 and asked for to apply for the grant. I should've of know there were already red flag in the beginning. The voice mail came on and pretty much stated to leave message. It didn't registered as New USA Free Grant Corp. 2nd red flag, they only asked for my full name, gender, income, age, occupation, and something else. As a fool, I submitted those information. Then it asked me to submit ID photo, then again, I send it to them. They supposedly processed it. they said I was a winner of the grant. I could chose cash or check. Tax free. My suspicious rose as they asked me what I wanted, $50,000, 100,000, etc up to 1 million. for each category you would have to pay for case file and delivery fee starting at $1000 for $50,000 grant up to $12,000 for 1 million. I tried to get my friend to confirm it was indeed she I was talking to, but she kept avoiding answering my questions. She sent me a photo of a bag full of cash in $1 dollar bills...another red flag. I'd finally realized this was not her. I contacted the New USA Free Grant on the toll free number and they informed me I was not in their system. I sent MVA an email to let them know that my informations/photo of my driver license was submitted and what should I do next. Again the number is 630-338-0987. It will come up as Unknown and from St. Charles, IL. I believes they realized I figured them out before I went any further with them. they destroyed all the information that was given to me via text message and facebook IM.
