Tax fraud against me. Intimidated me with fear tactics. Came from phone number 682-498-5025

I was called supposedly by the U.S. Treasury twice! The numbers left for call back were 206-414-1133 on 02/23/16 by an officer Jones and from 206-249-7323 on 02/25/16! Both were recordings!

- Shepherdsville, KY, USA

I was called by a foreign man that said restricted call and said the the United States Treasury was going to give me $7000 that I would have to pay back and I had 45-50 minutes to claim it and he had all my information of where I lived. The number was 206-454-8343 that he told me to call back claiming it was the treasury department.

Leaving a message Caller identify himself as Steve Martin with the U.S. treasury Dept. Wanted an immediate return phone call regarding an enforcement action from the U.S. dept of Treasury. Ignoring this call will result in magistrate judge and or grand jury and criminal offenses. He advised me to cooperate with us and help us help you. This person had a foreign accent that may have been Hispanic or middle eastern? The phone number was 202-754-8368. I have not responded to this call.

I received a phone message from David Gray. He told me that I needed to call back immediately that there was some sort of investigation by the U.S. Treasury. I did not call him back.

People call from (803)450-4458 and say they are U.S. Treasury and you owe thousands in taxes. They told me a magistrate would be by to arrest me and my prison time would be 3 years LOL Can't believe they get away with this. They need to be arrested.

My son got a phone call on his cell phone from "Robert Matthews" at 702-377-9155 saying that he owes taxes from 2011. They said if he doesn't pay $6,000 while he is on the phone with them, he will be arrested in 45 minutes. I took the phone and said I think you are scamming my son. He told me that he is not authorized to talk to me and that if he doesn't pay they will "send the detectives" to arrest him. Then they hung up.

Received a telephone call at 9:36 AM, today, 2/9/16, on our answering machine, from a Dennis Gray, 940-437-7076, stating he was from the U.S. Treasury and that we must call him back immediately or face prosecution. We did not call the number back.

I received a phone call at home from a Georgia phone number that I didn't recognize. I let it go to voicemail. When I listened to the voicemail a man with a foreign accent stated that he was David Gray from the U.S. Treasury and that we owed taxes and needed to return the call or a warrant would be issued for our arrest. When I looked up the phone number he was calling from other people stated that they had received scam calls from that number and that the caller was using the same name. I also saw the same scam listed on the ScamPulse.com website.

On Friday 1/7/2016 I recd a voice msg from Steve Martin (631-729-5422) who stated he was from the US Treasury and was calling from preventing a magstrate, judge or grand jury for a criminal office. Call to prevent a criminal offense.

I did not return the call -- I suspected it may be a scam.

- Saint Louis, MO, USA

Judy Smith of the U.S. Treasury called me and they received a notice of a legal petition and it was the final notice before taking me to court.

- Portland, OR, USA

A voice message was left regarding an enforcement action being taken by the U.S. Treasury and failure to return the call or comply with the request was a federal criminal offense. This was the 2nd message of its type and the caller referred to this being my 2nd intentional failure to respond. The first name was hard to understand "Tarik"? Wilson and to return the call at 856-718-8908.

It is my understanding that the U.S. Treasury contacts via U.S. Postal Service - no notification of any issue has ever been received by me.

- Canton, MI, USA

I received two phone calls from David Gray about a U. S. Treasury action against me with instruction to call back.

The first message said to call back 302-231-5385

The second message said to call back 518-861-9598

- Cincinnati, OH, USA

I have received at least three calls from a David Gray who states he is calling from the U.S. Treasury about an urgent matter. He always states this is the second attempt. Phone number to call back is 616-259-9417. He ends this "Help us to help you" I have not called back. They have been sporadic calls within maybe a two month period.

in the past 2 days I have received numerous phone calls (incoming calls all day long starting at extremely early am hours!) from the following phone number: 757-263-4907). Caller claims he is from the US Treasury, and that he is calling regarding a "federal offense." I called the number back to demand that they stop calling my number - obviously foreign accent from person on the other end. My concern is that I will be billed a ridiculous amount of money from my phone service provider for the one minute that I was on the line. The brief phone call seemed very "fishy" - it seemed like they were purposely trying to keep me on the line (maybe to run up a fee??) I just want the

phone calls to stop!

October 29, 2015

Today, I have received three fraudulent phone calls claiming to be from the U.S. Treasury Department, in regards to receiving Grant monies from the Department. These people all have foreign accents, give very "American" fake names, but were hard to understand in their broken English,

The first call was received at 12:23 P.M., the number was listed as 917-755-7140.

The second call was received at 2:04 P.M. The number was listed as312-948-8752

The third call was received at 2:55 P.M. some nine minutes ago, and it was listed as anonymous.

I also reported a call earlier in this month but have not heard from any source concerning the incident.

I am really tired of getting these calls and I really do not know what to do about them.

I would appreciate hearing from some one in regards to this type of scam and what I should do about it.

I did not give out any personal information except acknowledging that I was the party they were trying to reach.

When I told them that I knew they were scammers, they immediately hung up the phone.

I'm sorry, I do not remember the names that these people gave as they were hard to understand in their broken English plus I was a little upset with them to say the least.

I am on the National No Call Registry, but this does not seem to matter.

- West Jefferson, OH, USA

I received my 2nd call from the US Treasury saying there was a warrant for my arrest. His name was David Gray. He said I owed $4,200.00 to them. He seemed a bit flustered when I said, "OK who do I make the check out to". I knew I didn't owe any money and that it was a scam. He told me the call was being recorded and I said good, because I'm recording it too. He Hung up.
