US Treasury/IRS Reports & Reviews (2)

I received a phone call from a young heavily accented Indian lady identifying herself as an agent of the US Treasury department informing me that the IRS had found a substantial error on my 2012 taxes (with proof), that they had contacted me twice at my address, which she provided, and that because I had not responded to either letter, was assumed to be a tax evader and would be arrested if I did not pay. I had difficulty understanding her and asked to speak to a supervisor. I was put on hold and a male voice came on the line identifying himself as part of the UST, repeated what the young lady had said and that they were authorized to sign a warrant should I not cooperate. They did not tell me what errors had been made, did tell me that I should not call the IRS because now the warrant was a done deal and that I could expect to be arrested when I arrived home. She asked for payment of some kind, but because I could not understand her clearly, they must have assumed I was not "cooperative" and stepped it up to the warrant line. I must admit I was a little freaked out until I found the BBB report online of a similar scam, I then called them back, asking if it was the UST and she said yes at which point, I told her the line was being traced and to please stay on the line :-) She hung up. I did this twice with the same result. The third call back, he asked me how I was tracing the call and to go ahead and trace it. Bold little twit. I told the young man he was a criminal, fraud was illegal, and his mother would be embarrassed. He told me "yes, and to stop bothering them and not call back."

Received a call from David Gray regarding an important action needed to resolve federal debt issue & by not calling you may be forced to go in front of a US Magistrate Judge, or Grand Jury, & ignoring it would be a federal criminal offense which could lead to an arrest. So call him so they can help us. Call immediately to

202-754-8413. I have received at least 4 calls from this person & he left this message on my voicemail. I have never called him back but became a little worried when he keeps calling. He calls on my home *** & this message was from last Monday & he called again today but no message.
