I have received daily phone calls from a male with a foreign accent claiming to represent the U.S. Treasury. I realize you are aware of this scam, but wondering why you cannot put a stop to it. The message contains threats and I consider it to be a harassment.

they call and say you are being awarded $7000 dollars. they then provide you a grant number and tell you to call the us treasury at 646 583 2082. when you call they say they are the us treasury department. They tell you to go to a money gram or give your bank acct info and pay $299. They then say they are going to refund the 299 and you will receive the 7299 back within one hour., In addition, they were very angry when questioned and hung up many times.

Most importantly they are impersonating the US Treasury Department and a fraudulent grant from the American Recovery Act
