At 3:07 PM, call to cell phone. (This morning it was landline. I've already filed a report on that call. Different city in NY.

Same threat that this is "2nd and final" attempt to make contact before having to show up before a magistrate or judge.

A male voice with a foreign accent, going by the name of *** *** (or *** ***--the message is fuzzy), claims to be from the U.S. Treasury and the call is regarding enforcement action. He says it is a second attempt to reach me and that criminal action might be taken, so he can be reached at the number he leaves on the message.

I received a message from *** *** that the US Treasury has an enforcement action against me. I did not return the call

Received a (probably computer generated) telephone call stating that I was under investigation for tax fraud and that I should return the phone call immediately. The number on my caller ID screen was 1-929-421-1708. I did return the phone call to that number and the party on the line answered with the words, "US Treasury." Sounded like a male voice with a slight (Southern?) accent. I hung up.
