My experience is similar to the one above. No payment was made because I stopped payment. However now (8-28-21) I have received phone calls similar to the one above - Indian accent, boiler room background, identified as Nick Warner friom Cisco Tech at an address in Las Vegas NV that is occupied by another business. The phone call came from a West Virginia number. The message is that last October I signed up for their service and unless I cancel they will debit my bank account for $7,000. They would not cancel without my opening my computer. I did not. Reported to local police, bank, blocked number.

Pop up notice on computer "Apple Support your computer infected with Zeus virus "call 888-308-5904.

Notice10/22/20, sent check $3248.00 10/23/20. Called Bank 10/24/20 stopped payment.

Scamer Contact info:1-855-941-0777,E-Mail: [email protected]

Took computer to Apple Store @ Short Pump TownCenter, Richmond,VA 10/25/20, removed all scam apps,checked computer no corruption. Checked ScamPulse.com no listing for US TELIS, USPS listed address:119-18 101Ave,Pmb#258 South Richmond Hills, New York,NY 11419. Person I spoke with appeared to have India dialect and background noise sounded like a "Boiler Room" outfit. Filed complaint with FTC 10/26/20
