I was trying to find the status of my passport. I had googled "passport customer service" without looking into where i was calling, I am sure it was not the correct number. He insisted on me giving him my debit card info, dob, address. I am not sure why I gave it, but after hanging up I called my credit card and cancelled it right away. There were not any charges minutes after.
