I was called and told that because I was a good citizen, the government wanted to reward me. (I immediately knew this was a scam.) He told me my name, address, and email address. He said I was getting $14,566.00. He gave me a confirmation number and another phone number to call. To find out how they wanted to get my money, I called and a lady pretty much said the same thing then asked if I wanted the money put into my checking account or debit account and what was that number. I told her I didn't give my account numbers out and they could send me a check. She said they don't do that. I told her this was a scam and I was contacting the Attorney General about it.
