I was quetioned about my name and if I am awrared of gov. grants and I said yes. They said they were calling to get the $6000 federal grant that I Was awqrded to me. All i needed was to give them my bank card no. and they would trnsfer it to me. After I kept on saying I don't think the govern. would do this they gave me a web page of www.grants.gov and asked again for my bank card. I sid they diddn't give me a chance to look up the web page. So they said OK look it up I'll wait on phone. I did look it up but when I came back He again ok give me your bank card I don't need the code off back. I said no I don't trust this and he was going to get original person I TALKED TO but when he went awqy I hung up > I am glad that I did.

I was told they were calling from the United States government and offering me a $8000 grant.

Gave me a confirmation number of NY174. They told me to call the US Treasurer Dept. 206-519-6676 and they would tell me how to get my $9,000.00 they were giving me. There was 3 options, visa, master card. They will give you cash up front. Did not ask for any personal credit information.

Called saying that i was selected to receive a government grant for $7000 that i would not have to pay back. They wanted to verify all my information and offered 3 ways to pay my funds. They wanted access to debit card, savings account or checking or i could have it deposited on a major credit card. I had a card that i knew would be of no use to them so i played along. The first lady had me to contact her lead supervisor in which i did and he give me a big spill about how i would have to go and get a registration card from a local Walgreen's and load $300 for processing fees and then call them back.

Indian called as "Justin Miller." Apparently had all my information - name, address, email. Asked me for my age. Gave me some confirmation number. I asked to speak to a manager and he told me to call 2039876753. I asked how he got my info and he said i was selected among 1500 people who pay their bills on time and have no credit issues. He told me he can "erase me" when I threatened to report him. He offered 8000 dollars then told me he was just a verification officer.
