Said they were calling from Seattle, but sounded like they were Indian.

Received a call on my cell from 213-456-6756 said I qualified for a government grant because I have no criminal record, pay my taxes etc. Told me to call 202-738-4596 which shows up as a District of Columbia and "Mark Spencer" spoke with to me and asked for my code number (AB101). Now that code number is so generic and very suspicious, and Mark Spencer had an oriental accent (no offense intended). I could hear other people in the background saying the same script. After we talked Mark told me I needed to bring $250.00 IN CASH to the MoneyGram at WalMart and I would give them the cash and I would receive over $8,000 in cash back to spend anyway I want except for gambling, buying alcohol etc. I went along with this scam knowing it was a scam. I asked the name of the company, he said U.S. Federal Grant Department. TOTAL SCAM.
