I used the services of usdivorcerecords.org to try and find a new copy of my divorce decree. The "business" stated that they only charge $1 per record search. The "business" failed to find any records for me, but they will not tell you that there is no result to your search until AFTER you pay your $1. Except that they do not charge you $1... you are charged $24.95 from peoplechecks.org, instead. Their e-mail address goes unanswered, and their phone number goes to an answering service, rather than the actual business. I am having to take this up with the fraud department of my bank to resolve this issue.
